Peter is an arts manager and designer based in Dublin, Ireland. He is networked with directorship and fundraising experience. His combined skills in design, marketing, cultural planning and management assist the development of organisations by creating viability for projects and artists. He holds an M.Phil in Art History from Trinity College Dublin and a Degree in Design & from IADT. He was co-founder and director of the Monster Truck Gallery & Studios, a Dublin-based gallery and studio that produced in excess of 30 curated exhibitions and facilitated numerous artists at its studio facility. The organisation was steered from a small collective into a significant player within Ireland’s cultural sector and expedited new works by Irish and international artists. He was interim Head of Audiences and Development at the Irish Museum of Modern Art and is a Leonardo member of Science Gallery Dublin. He published a book on artist residencies and public sculpture, titled ‘Declarations of Abstraction, Welded Abstract Sculpture, Ireland, 1970s and 1980s in 2015 and has written on visual art for various publications, including Totally Dublin and Irish Art Review.
